Create with Connie and Mary - 214

This week is a color challenge as you can plainly see. I made a quick card using these colors and the idea for the card came directly from Mike Funke. He really does some great work. Check him out sometime! Anyway, I used the new set called Pleasant Poppies. I have seen so many samples with this set that I had to add it to my stash. I used the First Edition DSP for the background and colored in my flowers using the colors above. I added the little bee for my own personal touch.

Beautiful card! I love the idea of stamping on the dsp and then coloring in the image! What a great way to use the challenge colors! Thanks for playing at Create with Connie and Mary!

Stamping the floral image directly onto the printed DSP is such a great look. And this stamp is perfect with these colors. Thanks for joining us at Create With Connie and Mary!

I love how you stamped on the newsprint and colored in! I would have never thought to use these colors with the poppy stamp but it is wonderful! Thanks for playing along this week in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!
