Witches Hat Decor

Ok, I am proud to say that I made this year's kit well, this year! Yay! I even had it out on the table for Bunco night. My hubby, who does not like witches even had to admit that it is pretty cute. It came together quickly and easily except for 1 minor detail. I did not have the stamp set! Oh my! I missed the fact that it was not somehow included. I am sure I am not the only one. What did I do? I cut the image from the mini catalog and mounted it on the Whisper White card stock! You didn't even know it.

My Altered Wreath

OK, I am pleased with it. It is very sparkly and I really like that! The spider is so cute..I am tempted to rush out and get all the ingredients to make a few more! But for now, I have finished it and even though I am posting it late...I got it done on the 6th of October so...it was out in plenty of time to enjoy!

Cheer All Year

I ordered this set during the pre-order time for demonstrators and I have to say that I have used it over and over and I have not even used the Christmas or Fall stamps much yet! I am loving the simplicity of this fun little set! I cased this one from Mary Brown making only a minor change here and there!

Cheer All Year

Another scary Halloween card. This time I used an ancient little spider die cut that I had with the glitter black card stock. I also added a layer of Rich Razzleberry to may card but the idea again came from Mary Brown; she is sooooo talented!

Another Challenge for Creating Pretty Cards

For every ten cards submitted, we’ll pick one winner of a free month subscription here on Craft Project Central! The winner(s) will get to select the month of their choice! So if we have 15 submissions this month we’ll randomly pick one winner from all submissions*. If we have 40 submissions we’ll randomly pick four winners from all submissions*, and so on! We really want to give away some free subscriptions, so please do join our challenge!!

*If our project designers submit a card for your inspiration this month, they won’t be in the winner random-selection pool, but their cards will count towards the “for every 10 cards submitted winner total”.

PP268 - A Sketch Challenge from LeAnne

A fun challenge sketch from the Paper Players this week and I am feeling a little like Christmas. Actually, I have done all my shopping except for 1 or 2 little pick-ups! Being so far I have to get it done early for packing etc... So, I started with a Mossy Meadow card and layered with Whisper White and Real Red. Then I cut the little strips from the Merry Moment DSP stack. I used images from White Christmas and added dazzling diamonds to make the snow. Simple, right?

Creating Pretty Cards – Card Challenge #52!

Ok, this is your chance to  play along and maybe be drawn for a month of FREE tutorials. I love playing every month and I have won several times because not too many folks have done the challenges. That makes the odds of having your card selected really good. I have made 2 for this month, now to get them both posted! For this card I used the jelly fish from the From Land to Sea set. Jelly fish are so cool to look at and see...they can change colors and have like little lights on the body but in the day they look almost translucent! Pretty to see, nasty to touch.

Scary Spider???

I am ashamed to say that I finally put together the spider wreath that was in the Holiday mini last year! I am behind! So, this is a photo of the beaded spider. It went together much more easily than I had feared! He is so cute. Now to embellish the wreath with a little something different. Hopefully it will turn out and I can show it here later!

A Boo Box

Another quick little  box made to hold some sweet Halloween goodies. It looks like Brilliant Blue or Pacific Point but it actually is Elegant Eggplant!

Ghost Boo Bag

Ok, this is another cute little bag tutorial that I found here. It was quick and easy and I made substitutions using again what I had on hand. I remember that last year I forgot that I had the framelits for these little ghosts and I stamped them and cut them out by hand! Lots easier if you have the framelit!

Envelope Pixy Stix Pouch

I found a bunch of Pixy Stix when I was cleaning my room and had to make something cute to put them in. I used the Boo from Cheer All Year and the DSP is from the catalog called, Everyday Chic. I really like how simple and easy it was to do. I used the Envelope Punch to make an envelope and folded it together.

CCMC377 - Sketch Challenge

CCMC377CreateFA15Top3

I too am feeling the fall like weather here in Oklahoma. I just visited Atlanta to meet my new grandbaby...she is beautiful and they are feeling the beginning twinges of fall as well. Of course, fall is not my favorite season and especially here in OKC where the leaves do not turn pretty colors and fall to the ground! However, fall does bring Halloween and lots of holidays. My card features the fun set Cheer All Year. I know I have used it a lot but I really like it and it is so versatile!

Thanks for dropping by!

Batty Box

This is another box I saw on a blog and had to make using what supplies I have on hand. I wish I could buy everything and give so much away but alas, sales are not what they used to be for me. This will be fun to fill with goodies for a friend.

Trick or Treat Gift

I am teaching 5th grade Bible class again this year and I have a rather large class. Well, I can't skip a holiday so I am making 20 of these for my little treats this year. It was simple and I got the idea from Rae's 12 Weeks of Halloween. I took a 2-3/4 x 8-1/2" piece of Happy Haunting DSP and scored it at 1/2", 3-3/4", 4-3/4" and 8". Add a little bag of wrapped candy and voila!

Witches Sack with Hat

I found this cute tutorial on Angie Juda's site...Here. It was so cute. Well, since I don't own every stamp set I made a few substitutions to make my bag using some retired sets and lots of current goodies. Pop over and get all the directions to make one or 2 for you. Isn't it darling?

Birthday Card for Kara

My grand daughter just turned 10 years old on September 26th. Hard to believe that we now have a 10-ager in the family again. Well, she is becoming very crafty and artsy. She has been quilting lately and even made a quilt with her Nana for her new cousin, Bexley. So, of course, I had to make a quilted card for her. I know she loves these colors and this is her card for this year. I had to wait until she got it to post it.

BOO in 3-D

I actually bought these letters a few years ago but when I was cleaning the other day I came across them again. Perfect timing, right? So, I got out my trusty Stampin' Up! DSP and covered the letters. I then photographed them for my blog and left them to dry. When I came back I decided to add the spider webs and photographed them again. Which do you like best?

Plain or...

Webbed?

Too Early for Christmas? Never!

I usually send out a lot of holiday cards and I love to make little gifts for the secretaries at my work and my hubby's. But this little card is for someone special. This is a gift card holding card. I found the tutorial on ... uh oh, I can't remember where I saw it. If this is yours, let me know so I can give you the credit.

It is fun and easy and would make a great presentation at a party or as a gift for a friend. For this one I am using retired DSP but any DSP would work.

File Folder Candy

I also made a quick file folder candy holder this last weekend. I love the holidays because you can make so many cute little things and they don't have to cost a lot of money. Hey, I have stamps, paper and ink...so, Why Not!

Take a look. I put little York patties in mine but you can add whatever you like.

World Card Making Day

This past Saturday was World Card Making Day and I could not let it pass without having a few friends over for stamping. We made 2 cards and a 3-D project. If you attended you got an email with all the directions for the projects we made. Hopefully I will be able to put together a Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack soon. Be watching...it is coming!

PPA270: A Color Challenge

PPA270

An interesting set of colors for me. I made 2 cards and the first one did not turn out how I wanted to so I made another. This is the 2nd one and the 3rd attempt at that. I think I am satisfied with it now! I have never done one of these cards...they look to hard for me. So here goes...

This is the open view of the card

This is the front of the card.  It is like opening a card full of spring!

Thanks for looking!

Happy Fall Ya'll

The weather is cooler, the wind is windier and the leaves are falling. All these things put together mean fall is in the air. I am again working as the school nurse for a small school system and I am making treats for the secretaries. Without them, my job would be a nightmare! I try to give them little things all year long to keep the love going. Today I made simple candy corn treat bags.
