A quick play challenge card for this week. This is week 2 for my new full-time job and I am still getting used to the new hours. 9 hours at work all day and then coming home and getting ready for everything else. I am a bit overwhelmed but not giving up! I saw this challenge and looked to my DSP for the inspiration and this is what I came up with. Vintage looking, huh?
My place to stamp, create and share! I am proud to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and the team leader for the Judi's Cuties!

Administrative Professional Day
My husband emailed me a couple of weeks ago regarding a git for the 3 secretaries at church. He asked if I could do something for them and of course, I did. I was going to make the pretty flower die with Hershey hugs inside but he nixed it...didn't want to give anyone the wrong idea. So... I had these little bottles left over from my daughter's wedding...

Ears to You!
Another Easter post! I know, I am behind but I did not want this one to go unnoticed. I made 24 of these little packages for my Sunday school class and a few friends. I made them last year but this year I simplifies things a great deal. I printed the Ears to You! on the computer and only stamped the bunnies once.
Last Years Version.

PPA200 - A Milestone Celebration!
This week marks the 200th challenge from the Pals Paper Arts. To celebrate, they have a special surprise, a fun twist and a wonderful prize for you this week.
- The Surprise: This week we are giving you twice the inspiration! Both PPA Teams have joined together to give you 20 inspiration projects for this special occasion.
- The Twist: We've decided to add a twist to this week's sketch - are you up for the challenge? Use this sketch with monochromatic colors (one color along with neutrals of your choice). Each of our Resident Artists have chosen a different color to use. If you decide to take the extra challenge, the color you choose is up to you.
- The Prize: all 20 of the Design Team's cards displayed will be given to a lucky participant in this week's challenge. The winner will be selected randomly from the list of gallery participants, and the drawing will be held when the challenge closes. The winner will be announced with the Winner's Picks on Wednesday, April 23rd, so be on the lookout!
Hmm, wonder why I chose Real Red? I am studying Mary Magdalene for a women's class that I teach and I was studying many artist's renderings of her and so many have her dressed in red and many have her looking very lusty. Now, I am not saying that their art is really who she was or anything but it did put me in the mood for red and I had not used my Hello Sailor stamp set yet so...

Happy Easter
Don't you just love Spring and all that it brings with it? We get rain, and flowers and leaves on trees and new beginnings. All around us on the farms there is new birth. We also get Easter. The time every year to take time out of our busy schedule and remember what the holiday is all about. The resurrection of Jesus. No, He is Not Dead!
This card is not religious but it is very cute for Easter anyway. Now, you may be wondering about bunnies and eggs and what they have to do with Easter. The egg is a symbol of Passover and is traditionally on the Seder plate every year so that explains the egg concept of Easter and where they come from. Now for the bunnies...I don't know! Just for fun I guess.

Easter for Kara
I used an 'oldie but goodie' for this card. I have saved only a handful of stamps that have retired and this set is one that I kept. I love the bunny and the saying in it. Yes, it is a baby stamp set but the bunny is good for Easter too! I need to work on my water coloring but this is it for this year. A little cash and a lot of love and it is in the mail even as it posts here.

Mojo Monday 341
After I had my layout all set up I noticed that I had turned the sketch. Oh well, different can be good. I used the Retro Fresh DSP for my inspiration. It came together so quickly. You gotta love a great layout and you can use it so many ways as you can plainly see if you go to the link here.
My Easter Wreath
OK, so yesterday it was snowing here in OKC. On Sunday it was 82 degrees. I know, the weather is weird. So, since I was inside out of the cold I looked in my craft closet and found the stuff I had picked up weeks ago to make an Easter wreath for the front door. So...I made it and hung it. Only 6 days til Easter. Well, I will just have to keep it up til May.

Easter Wishes for CCMC298
I can hardly believe that Easter is almost here. My mom's birthday falls on Good Friday this year and that is this week! So, instead of a card for this color challenge I am doing a 3D project. Love those 3D's and I had these little candies just sitting on my desk. Better in cello than in my tummy. So...
Don't those little bunnies look cute all lined up?

A Tisket, A Tasket a Cute Easter Basket!
Well, I was playing around with supplies and decided to try to make an Easter Basket. I used the Oval Die cut and cut 8 ovals and one 3" circle. I used the circle for the base of the basket and then scored my ovals at 1" and folded them under the circle. It took a little manipulating but I was able to make it look like a basket. I added some shredded card stock grass and added a few goodies. Yummy, right!

The Envelope Punch Board is no longer a new tool, but there are plenty of new ways to create with it. Learn to make a fun camera-shaped gift card holder, two treat holders—one of which is shaped like a purse, a clasp envelope, a candy wrapper box, and a really easy card with a coordinating envelope. These are just a few of the fun things that can be created with the Envelope Punch Board!

Doubling Up this Week
This week I finished my card for one challenge and realized that it fit 2 challenges. That is always fun and time saving. I made another Easter card for my challenge. I can hardly believe that Easter will be here in less than 2 weeks. The months are flying by again, hang on, it is a fantastic adventure!
