Final New Year's Card for 2020

This final card was also taken from google image. I layered it up a bit more and it kind of looks like a cross of Christmas and New Years with the golden trees and package look to the year. It is still the season. I am looking forward to great things in 2020 and I am praying for greatness for you also.

New Year 2020

It  appears that I am lacking in New Year sentiments so I turned to my trusty internet and printed a couple of things from google. I did print on SU card stock so it is officially OK.

Thank You Notes

I pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas and got everything your heart desired...as for me and my family...we got to travel home to GA to see family and friends. Our hearts are full! We also had a family cruise a couple of weeks ago and all of us got to be together for a week of fun and no meal planning or cleaning! That is a win-win for all.

I am showing a very simple thank you note for those who send them out after the holidays. I used one of the pretty Scalloped Note cards and stamped a very simple Thank You on it. It is done and ready to go. These note cards come in 4 pretty colors and can be found on page 168 in the big catalog.

Night Before Christmas Memories and More 5

Last card of Christmas...2019. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. These cards were so quick and easy to make. I am probably going to order more to get ahead for next year since I did not mail any of these out. Look out for them to maybe hit the clearance racks.

Night Before Christmas Memories and More 1

I have just now gotten around to playing and making cards from the cute Night Before Christmas Memories and More kit.  Truly, I should have played with these a long time ago. However, I am on them now and I am planning to post 2 quick cards from the kit for the next 5 posts until Christmas. If you are running late, this kit is for you! Use your imagination and make them yours.

A Quick Snowman Season Card

This is another quick card that I made in just a few minutes and with minimal supplies. I used the Let it Snow DSP and cut strips that were 3 x 1" and made them to look like a little package. I added a ribbon and a sentiment and called it done!

A Christmas Note Card

This is another project that my stampers club made at our last meeting. It came together so pretty using the Wrapped in Plaid DSP and the pretty tree punch. Also, I got to teach them about embossing! It was a win-win-win! I got orders and they got to make some fun things.

For the last tag and card I am so happy to say that they are addressed and sent...Time to relax for the season!

The Christmas Tags by Paper Pumpkin Tag 3

Now for tag and card # 3. I am using the pretty silver cards and envelopes found on page 168 in the annual catalog. They come in silver or gold with matching envelopes and you get 20 in a pack for only $10.

The Christmas Tags by Paper Pumpkin Tag 2

This Paper Pumpkin kit made 6 each of 4 different tags. This is tag #2 and the card I made.

The Christmas Tags by Paper Pumpkin Tag 1

Again, I took these camping with me last week and made them all in one sitting. Great details and lots of fun. Since I am not using tags...my gifts to my children and grandchildren, is a family cruise paid for by Lolli and Pops (that is us). So I am going to use my tags as cards.

then as a card.

Christmas Cards from Paper Pumpkin

I have been subscribing to Paper Pumpkin from the beginning and I have to say that IMHO it just keeps getting better! I love the card kit and did not change a thing. I made all 48 (2 kits) at Thanksgiving with a friend and subscriber and now I just have to address them and get them in the mail. I even bought my stamps so I am ready.

Falling Behind Again!

I have been busy these last few weeks! I went on a cruise with a friend from high school (the 70's) and made some new friends. I also just spent a week at the beach in South Texas for Thanksgiving. We had a blast. Now, I am back to reality (for a week or so) and trying to get  caught up on my blog. I am showing a project that my stamper's club did a couple of weeks ago. These are little sour cream containers and we filled them with candy corn and pumpkins!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I might be a day or 2 early but I wanted to say it anyway. I am showing my last Thanksgiving card now. Next I will be featuring Christmas. Yes, I will be starting a little before Thanksgiving but I like to get it all done and blogged before the holiday madness so I can relax during the season!  So here is another vintage card.

Gather Together

I told you I would be using my few sets several times. I used one of the new In Colors for this card...Pretty Peacock. I love this DSP and ow it used this color with the pumpkins.

Rooted In Nature Tree

I used my markers and spritzed the card with water to make this card. I actually had another one I liked better except I blobbed it up! We have to make do with what we have so I turned it over and tried it again. Not quite as pretty but it will do!  The sentiment is from the Colorful Seasons set.

Gather Together again

This is the card I was referring to a couple of post back. I used the cut out of the leaves on the back of the other card to stencil the leaves on this card. I guess I am really missing the colors this year!

A Fall Pumpkin

I don't know about you, but it is hard to believe that November is upon us. We have just started having Fall like weather...actually, our temperatures have been more like Winter weather for us in Texas. The low this a.m. was 32. Brrrr! Any way, this is our next project for the Paper Crafting Club.

Gather Together

I cased this from the talented Mary Fish. Her card was Christmas with less layers but the bow was all her idea. I think the colors in this DSP are perfect for fall.

Painted Harvest meets Magnolia Lane

I first used the DSP from Magnolia Lane for colors. I then stamped and layered it using the Painted Harvest sunflower. I love this little flower and you will see it again I am sure.

To Every Season

I ordered this stamp set with my order from the current Holiday mini and am just now using it. It is fun and has a matching set of punches. For this card I used the leaf from the Colorful Seasons framelits. Keep watching. I will show you what else I did with this card in the near future.

Wishing You Well card

I really don't have many current Thanksgiving/Fall stamp sets so I will be showing how to use a few many ways. This card was made using the Gather Together set. I love the colors of the DSP in this suite and tried to match them for the elements on this card.

A Very Vintage Thanksgiving card

I love anything vintage and antique. My home is full of them and if I had my way I would collect more! My husband says we have enough especially for our tiny house of the future or camper! What does he know? Anyway, I love art and have always been fascinated with vintage cards. Here is my first one for this year.

Painted Harvest

As we approach the season of Thanksgiving I am focusing on some pretty Autumn cards. If you know me at all, this is not my favorite season. Now that we do not live in the Southeast we really don't get the fall colors here. I miss them but not the cooler weather. I am a spring/summer kind of girl! But, this is the season for family!

Halloween Treats for Bible class

I saw these little cards on the blog of Connie Babert. and had to stop and make them right away for my Bible class kids. I know they will love them and they were easy to make. Thanks for the inspiration Connie. See her instructions here.  Look at the yummy treat!

A Kiddie Halloween Project

I am doing a Paper Crafting Club at the school where I work and this is one of the Halloween projects we did recently. I printed them and they cut and put these puppets together. The kids really liked them!

A Halloween Card

This was the 2nd project that we did at my recent Stamp 'n Meet. I did it the day before the big 24 hour Flash sale and I was able to get a lot of orders! Everyone made their little cards a little differently so it was fun to see their imaginations running wild.

Another Halloween Treat Box

We had a Stamp n' Meet this week at my home and I had 9 stampers come. We had lots of fun and made 2 projects. The first one was this cute little Halloween box. I got the template from Chic N' Scratch on her blog. I was easy especially since I had already cut and scored for everyone. They added a few candies and had a fun little treat to give away.

Another Halloween Box

I should have said a while back (if I did not) that I have been following the blog of Chic N Scratch to get a lot of these Halloween boxes. I have actually been following her blog for years and making a lot of her ideas. She does it for free (and that is my price).  Check out her blog to get some ideas for yourself.

Halloween Throwback...Paper Pumpkin 2015

I got a Paper Pumpkin kit in 2015 that featured these little paper treat bags. I found some paper bags and recreated them. I used a stick from the yard and only one bag so they are not a cool as the original but they are for a Paper Crafting club I am sponsoring at my school. The kids will love to make them.

Paper Players Color Challenge: PP463

I sat down and made a quick little card for this challenge. I am always in need of another Halloween card and this one fit the bill. I used some of my "retired" stash for this card using the above colors. Nothing spectacular...just fun!
