Vintage 4th of July card

I love vintage cards and images and I made this card a while back but since it is the holiday and I may be travelling it is a great card to repost.

Timeless Tropical

It has been in the 90's every day since the end of May and it definitely feels very tropical here in Dallas, TX. I am missing not being able to get to the tropics due to this Covid stuff so I am making it feel tropical with cards and projects...

I pulled out this relatively new stamp set and put it together to make a couple of Father's Day cards for someone special. My husband loves being on and in the water, much as I do, so I figured this set would do the trick for this year.

Dandelion Wishes

Do you remember plucking up the dandelions and blowing on them and making wishes when you were a child? I know I do and it was always fun. Little did I know that they were not flowers but weeds! Oh well, there are plenty of them by the lake in our neighborhood and I wanted to make a couple of cards with this set and they were my inspiration.

A Couple of More Alternates

2 alternates are rarely enough for the creative minds like yours so I made 2 more. I know you could do a lot more with these but again, I don't have the new colors yet (at least not when I stamped them) so I am using what I have. Enjoy!

A Couple of Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

As promised when I first posted the Paper Pumpkin kit for May, I have finally gotten around to making and posting some alternate ideas. I tried to just use what came in the kit. For some I cut the card fronts off and used an extra card front and I also added a little "Wink of Stella."  These first 2 make great cards for the graduate, don't you think.

Well, 2020 is one for the record books with this Pandemic. However, history does show that we were overdue for a Pandemic. So many people have had to change their travel plans and scramble to come up with safer plans for this summer. No exceptions for us. We usually go somewhere to scuba dive and had to cancel that trip for now. That does not mean we cannot have adventures...just not the ones we were expecting. Back on Your Feet Again

It is also spring/summer and the time that kids are supposed to be outside playing and probably getting hurt. This card is one to keep around for just such a time as a broken arm!  Who could resist a sloth as cute as this one?

I know it kind of sounds like a bad movie coming back again but I promise it is not. It is another cute card made using the same stamp set. These images really speak to our hearts especially during this quarantine season and the depression and fatique that comes with it.

This week I am featuring a card set called Back on Your Feet. This is a cute and simple card set for those quick get well or pick me up kind of cards that you always need and I never seem to have on hand.  I love the animal images. Who doesn't love a sloth or a giraffe with a knot on his neck?

I made a simple yet pretty birthday card for a special 90 year old I know. Her birthday is next week so I have to get this one in the mail. I am loving the new Ornate Style stamp set. You will too!

Magical Mermaid

I was drawn to this set and my 2nd grand daughter had her nursery in mermaids. The images are pretty and you can embellish them with glitter and who does not love glitter?!!  This was a fun waterfall card. I haven't done one in quite a while. Might be fun to do another one.
