Now for the next set of alternative cards. By the time I finish these it will time to start playing with the new kit...My Wonderful Family. Such great timing as so many of us are away from our families right now.

Paper Pumpkin Alternatives #1

Ok, so I took one sheet of the cut outs and 3 envelopes plus some basic card stock from my stash and made 9 different cards from the 3 they show in the kit. I still have a whole sheet of cut outs left with more envelopes. I will show these in 2 posts.

Slide Open Box

I made a new box to hold a little treat. I currently don't have a treat in it, not sure what I am going to do with it yet. I tell you, this social distancing is really cramping my style. 

Retirement List Coming Today!

My Paper Pumpkin for March

Well, I have to say the month of March will be one for the records. With Covid19 and all the social distancing and trying to work from home I have hardly had time to do any stamping. I am finally playing with this Paper Pumpkin kit while I am on a video call for work!

It made 3 cards and I have yet to do any alternates. I am only showing 2 of them. New computer software issues. They will be coming...

Candy Treats for Adults

I just love making little treats for my co-workers and I am always on the hunt for something different, some kind of little treat I have not done before or a new way to dress it up. This little chocolate bar comes from a little store called Aldi and they are delicious and come in lots of flavors. They are small so they are just the right amount for maybe an afternoon "pick-me-up."

A Week Late but...

So, I had a major computer crash last weekend and it took a couple of days to restore things. That means I am a bit late posting my Easter treat for some friends (social distancing friends). Here is the Jelly Bean Prayer I did for my Bible class kiddos. Of course even though the baggie does not show, it is filled with appropriate colored jelly beans.

Another Floral card

I am really thinking flowers lately and can hardly wait to get outside and do some planting and watching what will be coming back from last year. I love these pink flowers and this set. I cased this card from the catalog using Daisy Lane.

Timeless Tropical

I know it will be someone's birthday coming up soon. I have made this card with no one special in mind but I know someone will be getting it. I love the scenes this DSP calls to mind. I can almost smell the blossoms.

On to the Beach

Nothing has been announced yet here in N. Texas about ending school but in Georgia where I used to work they have already cancelled school for the rest of this year. It will be an online only finish for those students. This will be a year to remember for sure! I have been busy making masks for our volunteers with the Texas Food Bank and also for our district to use when we continue to give breakfast and lunch in a drive-by mode for school children.

But my mind wanders to the beach and I made a couple of cards dreaming of warmer days and days where we can again mingle with our friends and family (near and far).

Tropical Chic

 As I have been sheltering in place since March 11th I have been dreaming of my next vacation and wondering when it will take place. We have a scuba trip planned in July. Wonder if it will happen. Anyway, I made a couple of pretty tropical cards whilest dreaming.

Floral Essence

Well, it is spring time here and all the rain we have been having is going to give us spectacular color and flowers. At least that is what we learned back in the day..."April showers bring May flowers." Right now I have a few flowers but the temps the last couple of nights have dropped into the 40's. That is cold for spring in Texas. So, while it has been raining and we have been social distancing I  have been making cards.

I reached in and pulled out my Floral Essence stamp set for these cards.
