Valentine Treats #3

So this was a little treat box that I found on Chic' N Scratch here. It was fun to make and I even found some little rock candy at the candy store that fit right in. There were 2 in the pack and I shamelessly ate one of them! Now there is only 1 to gift.

Valentine Treats #2

I found some Sixlets at the $ store and bought them to make quick gifts for friends/kids. The little bags are retired from SU but I know you can get them here. Each little bag holds 2 little sixlets and I punched out hearts and stamped sentiments, Easy Peasy!!!

Valentine Treats #1

Is is just me or is it hard to believe that January is almost over? The time really does go faster as you get older! I always thought is was just old people saying that!!

So, I am making some Valentine treats for my hubby, friends, Bible class kids and my papercrafting club at school. I will be showing them over the next several posts.

This is for my darling husband. He is vegan so finding sweets that fit his diet are a challenge. So, I got some of those sour cherry's. I hope he likes them!

January's Monthly Meeting of Stampers

We got together the other evening and made a beautful project using one my favorite stamp sets...Butterfly Gala. This stamp set has so many beautful butterfly images but it also has some great sentiments. We used the little pizza boxes and filled them with 4 different 3x3 cards and envies. What a nice gift for someone special or to keep for yourself.

PP474 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge

So, I saw this challenge and then happened upon an origami shoe and thought...why not? So this is my card for this challenge. I am loving this little set  and can't wait to make the little bag in the suite.

Good Morning Magnolia Thank You card

If Christmas is the season of giving, January must the season of thank yous. I quickly made a pretty thank you note for friend when they remembered us with a little something at Christmas time. It is so good to always give thanks!

Final Alternate Project

Well, if you have not played with the little pizza boxes in the catalogs you are really missing out. They are perfect for little food gifts or to hold 3x3 cards and envelopes. I used one of the gold ones from the Holiday catalog for this project since these cards use gold touches.

Paper Pumpkin Alternates #3

These are some of the great 5x3/5 cards that have matching little envelopes. I love this size card. It uses less supplies and it is still mailable. I made a little box that holds these 4 cards with envelopes. The box was actually shown on the first alternative day.

Good Morning Magnolia card

I am still drawn to the magnolia stamps (living in the south the magnolia's are prolific). I also love the envelopes and cards they featured in the big catalog with the Magnolia stamp set. They make quick and easy cards but a touch of silver beauty.

A Birthday Card for a little one

During Sale-a-Bration Stampin' Up is offering a little 6x6 paper cutter with a sampler of the DSP from the new catalog. I used a 6x6 piece of paper to make the card and the envelope. I know I have birthdays that this can be used for this year.
