Last birdie this week...I think?

This was another quick card that I cased from Pinterest. I embossed the card base using the birch folder. Added the DSP with backings from Crumb Cake. I stamped the little Hello on the punched bird from the DSP and called it done.

Sweet Little Birdie

How about this one for a clean and simple bird card. I used Balmy Blue for the card base then a clean sheet of Whisper White. I punched the little bird from the DSP and added more DSP for the banner. Add a few jewels to make it shine and you are done!

More Birds...

So this is a simple card as is my style that uses a Pool Party card base layered with a piece of the pretty Bird Ballard DSP. I stamped the little birdies on Whisper White and colored them using the Stampin' Blends. Add a ribbon and a sentiment and layered it all together. This was a case from Stampin' Up!

The Paper Players challenge PP447

I am playing with a challenge today to get my juices going. I have been absent for about 6 months from the blogging world and summer is here so I am trying to get back out there. I had my first demonstration/party in 3 years and it was so much fun! This challenge appealed to me with so many possibilities.

and my take on it...keeping things simple!

Free as a Bird

I just love the bird stamp set. I am a bird lover and I love feeding the birds in my backyard. I have to say the variety in Texas is not what it was in Georgia but I love them anyway. For the next week I will be showcasing a few cards from the Bird Ballard Suite seen on pages 91 and 92 in the catalog.

Good Morning Magnolia...No stamping required!

For my final card (at least for now) I am using parts of the suite shown on page 37 in the catalog. I used the specialty cards and envelopes with some of the Memories and More to quickly put together another great card. I added some bling with the rhinestones and called it done.

Good Morning Magnolia #4

This is another great card and I love how quickly it came together. I used the largest stamp from the set to stamp out the pretty magnolia using Soft Suede then I simply used some stamping sponges to add the colors. Stamped the sentiment and used the die from the the Free as a Bird bundle to cut it and a few layers of ribbon and card stock to finish it.

Good Morning Magnolia 3

I have 3 more cards to show you then I will be moving on (at least for a while) to another stamp set and showcase that one for a week or so.  Hang in there with me and feel free to copy any and everything you see that appeals to you.  This is a case from Mary Fish.

This one is again featuring some of the Magnolia Lane DSP. Usually I have to say that Mossy Meadow is not my favorite green but it is perfect for this stamp set!

Good Morning Magnolia 2

Another fun Pinterest case (copy and share everything). Ooh la, la...this stamp set just really appeals to me and I am sure so many others are loving it too! Plus, there are lots of accessories to go with it in the catalog (see pages 37 & 38) in the new catalog. For this card I simply used some of the gorgeous DSP (designer series paper) and layered and cut the flowers using my Big Shot.

My Paper Pumpkin for May

The Shelli edition of my Paper Pumpkin is so pretty. I love the birds and all the layers and elements. It is not my usual stamp her up and get her done but I love it! Plus, with the monthly video at www.pumpkinhowto.com you can watch how it is done. Of course, there are also instructions in the kits and always a measuring tool at the bottom of the instruction sheet for stamping on the go.

Here are the cards we made at my recent open house. Did I mention that they come with decorated envelopes? They do. Enough supplies to make 12 cards and 12 envelopes. Can hardly wait to see what the surprise will be next month.

Good Morning Magnolia

I love a pretty magnolia tree. I know they can be messy and the clean up is not so easy but they are evergreens and their blossoms are so sweet and pretty. That being said, I bought the farm when I saw this Good Morning Magnolia bundle on page 37 in the new catalog. It is so pretty and versatile. I have mailed this card already to a good friend who had foot surgery.

Free as a Bird

Free as a Bird is such a pretty stamp set, I am sure I will be using it frequently. I was working with it and made another quick and easy card. I almost used this one for my class but I decided to use the one I posted yesterday. I am loving the lacy ribbon!

New Catalog Update

Update on the 1st Texas Stampin' Up! party I have done. It has been at least 3 years since I have had a demonstration so I was a little nervous and forgot to bring a couple of elements. Luckily it was at my house and I just had to grab them from my craft room. We made 2 cards and everyone had fun and I got orders from all the attendees!

This is what the table set-up looked like.

This is the first card we made...

For the 2nd card we used the current Paper Pumpkin kit and everyone made one of the cards from that kit. I will post these tomorrow. I got 2 orders for Paper Pumpkin. And everyone wants to get together again!

The New Catalog is Live Today!

06.01.19_HEADER_AC_LAUNCH_NA

Sadly, I have ignored my blog spot for several months. I even contemplated giving up Stampin' Up! altogether. However, I got the new catalog and was inspired to begin again. Yes, IMHO, this is one of the best catalogs in a long time. I am even hosting party today at my home for the first time since I have been in Texas! WooHoo! More details on how it went tomorrow. But for now, click this link and start drooling over the catalog.
