Sour Cream Treat
Somethings never get old. Like good candy or a classic movie. Also in this category is the little sour cream container full of goodies. It is one of those things that has been around forever and will always be there in the background. So, I picked up a scrap of my Motley Monsters DSP and whipped this one up in about 5 minutes total time. It will be perfect for the little boy next door!

Candy Corn Treat
I am showing you today a little candy corn treat that I made using the now retired Petal Cone die cut with my Big Shot. I cut 2 each of Whisper White, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango. Next there is some cutting and gluing and then...ta da! You have this really cute treat holder. I stamped the tag and layered it.

One Month Late to the Day!
I might be the worst grandmother in record. I don't know but I went on vacation a month ago and forgot to send my granddaughter's birthday card. G-A-S-P! I know, right! I should be fired! So, I did remember her birthday and emailed my daughter who lives in the same town and have her give cash from us and give a promise of the card to be forthcoming. So, I get home and hit the ground running. I finally got her card made and in the mail. Now it is time for Halloween. However, this is her 2nd year of scouting and her mom has been sewing patches on her uniform so I made her a brownie vest card.

Little Monster Treat
I have seen a few of these little treat holders online and here and about so I set a to make one for myself. I was thrown off at first because I did not realize that it is an alteration of the very fun Curvy Keepsakes Die shown in the latest mini catalog. I just cut off the side I did not need. Actually, being the miser of card stock that I am I just used enough to make the one side. He turned out cute, huh?
I love the googly eyes!

Creating Pretty Cards – Sketch Challenge # 40
Today I am playing with the Creating Pretty Cards Sketch. To get all the measurements etc for this card click on the link at the top of this post. You can play along too. If at least 15 cards are submitted someone will win a month's of free tutorials! How fun is that? So,
I come from a family of long tradition of not knowing what you might be getting for Christmas. You could make out a list of wishes but there was never any guarantee that your wishes would be fulfilled. So, my sweet hubby comes from a background where you make a list and that is what you get. Today he sent me an email of what he wanted for Christmas and I ordered it today! Talk about being ahead, right? So, why not post a Christmas card to go with his wish!
The spots on the DSP remind me of snow...even the yellow spots!

The Eyes Have It!
I will be the first one to admit that when it comes to scary and creepy movies and spook houses...leave me out! I do not understand the thrill that comes from being 'scared to death.' My daughter loves that feeling! So, my cards and projects are rarely creepy. These creepy eyes are about as scary as I get! BOO!

Halloween Card for Kara
I shared the card that I made for Logan a couple of days ago. I could not do for one without doing it for the other. So far I only have 2 grandchildren. So, this is my card for the 9 year old. I used the same ghost as for Logan. However, I am a bit embarrassed to share that I thought I did not buy the framelets to cut the ghost so I have been tracing the stamp and cutting the ghosts. Alas, I found the framelet for this set!!!

Halloween Treat Holders
Ok, so I made these little things a couple of years ago and sort of forgot about them. They are so easy to make. I started with 6x6 card stock and scored at 2 inches from all 4 sides. Then on the corners I scored diagonally to make the folds to crease in. Sounds crazy but try it, it works. I punched holes in all the folded in corners and added ribbon to hold them together. These make another great option for candy and goodies for co-workers/friends.

Halloween Cup Treats
I got this tutorial from Becky Roberts with Inking Idaho. It was so fun I had to go and order the little cups then tear up a cup to make a pattern to recover the cups. I am filling one with candy corn and the other one with peanuts. Mix and make your own Pay Day candy.
To cover my cups I used: Motley Monsters DSP with matching Tangelo Twist card stock for the cup holder. I stamped some monsters using the Freaky Friends stamp set.

Final Post for the Special Halloween Project
Did you figure it out yet? Are you trying? Ok. I made a fun 4x6 Photo Tray to show off my Halloween things and it hangs on the wall. All the elements fit together in it and guess what? You can take them out and put new ones in for other holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas! How fun is that? I got the idea from the totally talented Patty Bennett. Thanks!

Special Halloween Project part 1 of 7
I am working on a special Halloween project that has 6 elements. All alone they would stand on their own but by next Saturday you will be able to see them all put together. My big Bunco and home debut is this Monday and I wanted a few hand made items to show off my talents. This is one of them.
Today is part 1. Stay tuned all week for the other elements and see the final next Saturday.

Creative Challenge Club 16
This card was made for the CCC16 challenge this week. It was an easy sketch and so I played along. I have to post something here so why not play with sketches to give myself a little inspiration and challenge. For this card I used my Four Feathers stamp set and the new Color Me Autumn DSP for the color selections. These feathers are fun to use and easy to color and cut with the wonderful die cuts and my Big Shot. First the sketch...
Now my card...

Specimen Art...Going Batty!
I don't even have any little kids at home and I still love Halloween. It is all about the candy, decorations and costumes. So, this month I am doing a lot of Halloween. Hey, it only happens once a year. Today I met my new neighbors and I found out that her birthday is actually on Halloween. She says that they love to decorate so...this is for her!
I used the retired bat punch and punched out a lot of black bats and one Tangelo Twist bat. I glued them to a piece of burlap 8 x 10 board that I found on clearance at M's store one day. I punched holes to hang it with the fun and bright Two-Tone Trim in Tangelo.

Shampoo Fun - A Recycled Project
When I was much younger part of the fun of travelling had to do with all those little bottles of shampoo and such that they put in your room. Well, I am a lot older now and I am no less amused by these little bottles. This one had shampoo in it and after a thorough washing and soaking I was able to use it to hold these delicious little candies. It holds a good bit. I was surprised how many handfuls it took to fill it! I simply cut a piece of the fun Motley Monsters DSP to wrap it and then stamped Frankie and water colored his face and socks. Add a little ribbon and you are done.

World Card Making Day
I have been so busy that I let this one completely slip up on me. When I realized it was world card making day I had to disappear into my stamp kingdom and make at least one card. Well, that is what I did, one card. I used the Traveler set. Love the images in this set. I used the ship with the Typeset Specialty DSP and made this quick card.

Halloween Wreath
Have you seen the cute kit for a Halloween wreath in the mini catalog? It is so cute and it comes as a kit. This is one version that I found on the So Shelli blog done by Stampin' Up! It is cute and reusable so it would be easy to use year after year.
