Thoughtful Banners 2
Well, we are in the middle of another move to another state and while we are in transition we will be living with some new friends. I am anticipating needing lots of thank you notes and I am sure I can use this one! I love the stripe that is in this set. I have seen lots done with it and am looking forward to doing more.

Interrupting My Schedule for a Challenge Card...
Creating Pretty Cards – Sketch Challenge #62!
Each month in addition to the great 3D projects that we have for you, we also host a monthly card challenge – Creating Pretty Cards!!
To help you recreate the sketch each month, we’ve also provided a free Sketch Mini Tutorial! This mini tutorial has information about how the inspiration card (using the sketch) was created, supplies used, and basic measurements!!
A couple guidelines before we get started and you submit your creations to our challenge!
Please Do!:
- Share cards related to each month’s card challenge using Stampin’ Up! supplies only.
- Post the card to your blog or other online forum (e.g. Splitcoaststampers).
- When posting the card to your blog or other online forum consider using as a keyword CPCX, with the X representing the card challenge number. E.g. For this our 61st challenge it would be CPC62.
- Use the link tool below to link to your card (not just your blog, please).
- If posting to your blog, please link back to Craft Project Central.
- Leave comments for those that share their card creations! Thank you!
My card features the pretty fish from Seaside Shore and some blue starfish (which are common in Costa Rica). I used the sketch for the challenge this month and this is what I came up with.

Swirly Bird 2
I saw this card on Pintrest and wanted to make one for me. I think the original is a bit better...it has less gaps and the flag is going the right way but oh well. Perfection is for Hallmark! I used the Watermelon Wonder and Pacific Point with Whisper White and a touch of Yo Yo Yellow. Makes me want to sail away!
Swirly Bird 1
Have you been watching the Olympics every day? I know I have been following many of the events and staying up too late many nights in a row. So, I took a little time to come up and stamp and decided that since I was on Swirly Bird I might make an Olympic style card. I used the small swirls to create the rings.

Speaking of School...
Well, new teacher training started on the 1st of August for my district and I am busy getting everything ready for the clinics and to train the staff and secretaries. It is always fun and crazy at the beginning of a new school season. I like to start the season off right with a secretary training and some little gifts for these girls. This time I am doing 11 of these. I have to get some more smarties because I was down to purple only for the sample.

Suite Sayings #2
Here is another fun card from Suite Sayings. Usually with the sentiment cards I just add them to any card but I challenged myself to make some purposeful sentiment cards for this ABC challenge. This one is really cute. I did see one similar to it on SCS and had to substitute my stamp sets and colors.

Suite Sayings #1
Where is the summer going? I am sitting here posting for the beginning of August and for many, school will be starting in a matter of days! I saw this on Brian King's website and had to make one for me. Thanks Brian for the inspiration. I used some retired DSP because it seems that I always have some leftover.

Seaside Shore #1
What a fun little set. As an avid scuba diver I cannot resist the fish stamps! I have made a couple of cute cards using this new set. I had to squeeze them in because I got this set after I was in the S stamps sets. This was done using some of the very cute DSP from By the Seashore (gotta get more of this one)! The colors I used were Dapper Denim, Calypso Coral and Mint Macaron.
