I made one more challenge card. This one used the sketch from Creating Pretty Cards and the colors from Create with Connie and Mary. Being that I matched 2 challenges I kept it simple. Of course, simple is really my middle name in stamping. I love the look of some of those extravagant cards but I would never sit down and spend hours making one card! This one has pretty colors and it was challenging to me not to want to use a pumpkin.
My place to stamp, create and share! I am proud to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and the team leader for the Judi's Cuties!

Creating Pretty Cards - Card Challenge #64
I am adding another card to the Creating Pretty Cards challenge on Craft Project Central. Again, this is a sketch this month. I am still in Halloween mode so I made another 'spooky' card. This one features a white pumpkin. I love how the farmers have made so many varieties of pumpkins now. Isn't it so fun???!!!

October My Paper Pumpkin vs. Creating Pretty Cards Challenge
I opened the kit for this month and it has such lovely emblems and pieces to make 8 shaker cards or whatever you want to do with all those pretty pieces. I made an alternate project to start my kit this month. I am sure I will make some shaker cards as the glitter is gorgeous. This card just happens to fit the CPC challenge again.

October Paper Pumpkin
October Paper Pumpkin: Season of Gratitude
from STAMPIN' UP! BLOG
OCTOBER PAPER PUMPKIN: SEASON OF GRATITUDE
The Season of Gratitude Kit includes everything you need to shake things up with eight fabulous fall shaker cards! They say you should “throw kindness around like confetti,” but we think it would be fun to “throw gratitude around like falling leaves” too—this is the kit to help you do that!
Watch a quick video on our YouTube channel to see how fun it is to create these cards. You can follow the instructions to complete your Paper Pumpkin project as shown in the video, or you can use your creativity to come up with something new. Here are some ideas to get you started.
First, if you fold the card base, you can create a tiny treat bag and a shaker tag. This project uses all supplies from the kit. Wednesday, October 26, 2016
CCMC 429 - A Sketch Challenge
I still have a lot of work to do and I am looking for a job here in the Big D but I am playing for my sanity. Guess what I found today??? Yes, my Big Shot! I have been looking for it and was waiting to empty a box of punches when my hubby puts up the punch rack but behold, while looking again in one of those boxes I found it wrapped at the bottom. I actually planned this card over the weekend but could not do it without the Big Shot. You can see the challenge by clicking here to their link. Oh well, I missed the official challenge by a few minutes but I had fun!
Boo and thanks for looking!

More Paper Pumpkin Projects
Today I am showing a couple more of September Paper Pumpkin projects. I know I am sooo behind. Now I am still setting up my room and the lighting in this room is totally lacking! Ack! I am working on it but the photos are grainy and not very great. I apologize and it is making me not be able to post on time. Be assured, I am trying to resolve it!

Alternate Project for My Paper Pumpkin
I told you I was making this and it is also so cute. I have done these before using pens and post-it notes but candy is always a great alternative. The candy is the new S'mores m&m's out this season. They have a coffee flavor to me. They are also round and fit easily into the test tubes.
I started with a piece of Basic Black - 3" x 7"
Whisper White - 2-3/4" x 2-1/2"
Pumpkin Pie - 2-3/4" x 2-1/2"
Fold the black in half. Use your snips to cut about 1/2" across the fold line 2 times (be careful not to cut too much or the tube will slide out)! Stamp on the white and pumpkin pie. Add a tag (all comes in the kit) and put it all together.

My Paper Pumpkin - September
Somehow in all the move, I did not get My Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail. Being the great company that Stampin' Up! is they mailed it to me when I called. I had forgotten to update my address! My bad! I did it on the website but not the paper pumpkin site! So, I am just now getting to play with it. I am definitely ordering refills for this one. Such fun! First I am showing what the kit makes and come back in a day or 2 and see an alternate project!

I'm Back!!!
Well, it has been a longgggggg 6 weeks off from stamping and getting my fingers inky! I have moved from OKC to the Big D (Dallas). I have been on 2 cruises, the 2nd one impacted by Hurricane Matthew and I have opened and unpacked too many boxes to count. I am still trying to get things organized but I just had to take time to stamp and get back into my routine.
Today I am playing with a challenge to get my MOJO going. I am doing the color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary. This week is a color challenge and while most people are doing Halloween or Christmas I am still saying...Where did the summer go?
