Germaphobes

I work as a school nurse and many of my co-workers are germ-a-phobes. Mind you, they come to see me when they are sick or their child is ill but otherwise they stay away due to germs in the clinic. Now, I live in the clinic all day long and am rarely ill! I made some of these fun little hand sanitizer boxes for them.

Snow Man Box

This is one that I did a few years ago in a class. We cut our box using the Big Shot and decorated it into a snowman. You could do Santa or use Expresso card stock and make Rudolph. The sky is the limit. I pulled him out and filled him with goodies to share.

P.S. I am actually finished posting for Christmas officially and it is only 11/16/18. See, I told you I could do it all before the holiday rush. So, even as you are reading this, I have been relaxing and enjoying the holiday rush!

Gift Card Holder Mini Purse

Who does not love a gift card? How about one for Stampin' Up! products or lovely candles and such? I am actually a gift card hoarder. I save them up until I don't have any money then I like to go out and have a day all to myself and see how little I can actually spend!

Flat Candy Box

This was a tutorial from Designs by Debbie. I am not supposed to share the tutorial but you can google her and find them. This box was another fast and easy project. It holds candies and you can see mine is loaded with Rolo's.  Again, I am using the Dashing Along DSP and the die cuts that go with the Merry Christmas to All bundle.

Santa Pants

Not meaning to be crude but this little gift does look like Santa pants. It is another darling little project that uses scraps and you could make a bunch in an hour. This one holds the Hershey's miniatures. Who wouldn't love one?

Origami Card

Even as we speak, I have about 90 Christmas cards that I have done and are ready to be shared with co-workers and friends. This is one that I stumbled upon and had to case using my own DSP and colors. Yes, it is the Dashing Along DSP and no, I still have not used it all! Lots more to make more fun projects.

5 Days until Christmas

Next year I have got to schedule some classes to do make and takes for some friends. It will be fun to use current items and remake some of the fun projects that I have been sharing here. Unfortunately, I cannot remember where I saw all the originals but you can always Pinterest it/google it, etc... and find some great tutorials.
This is another quick and simple gift box. I know I got this one from Chicnscratch.com, I think she did it for the Halloween tutorials but I made this one for Christmas. Again, it is tiny and great for co-workers.  No need to break the bank to say you care!

Mini Ornament Gift for Tree

This little box was made to hang on a tree. It will hold some small items...maybe earrings, a ring, $$$ or candy. You can use your own imagination to fill it with good things.

Table Cracker

I used an empty toilet tissue roll to make this quick little gift holder. I wrapped it with tissue paper and embellished with the Dashing Along DSP. I used the thinlets that go with the Merry Christmas to all to make the 'merry.' Just fill it with candy, little bottles of adult beverages or treats like flashlights for a fun, festive table favor!

Mini Tic Tac Gift

Another mini and quick gift for you. It holds the mini tic tacs that you can get from the $ store in a pack of 3 for a $. What a deal and it is so cute. This one is simply made by wrapping the card stock around the candy and embellishing. Then you use the ribbon to tie around and to pull out of the packaging.

Mini Ghriardelli Box

I got this cute little box pattern from Inking Idaho and it was so quick and easy to do. It will hold 2 of the new mini sized Ghirardelli candies (for those who are watching their weight). So, it is perfect for the holidays when we all tend to overdo it from time to time. It is really tiny and cute!

A Santa Card Box

I have made so many cards using the quick Memory Makers card pack and the matching envelopes that I needed a box to put some in. This box will easily hold 6 cards and envelopes and make a nice gift. Just bag it and tag it and voila!

Another C&S Christmas card

This is a card that I cased from myself from my blog in 2014. I was looking back and thought, that card would never go out of style. I did it again using a Call Me Clover for the background (last one was Real Red) and used a current sentiment.

Upcycled Gift

I have 2 or 3 of these notepads sitting on my desk from my last job in Oklahoma and I decided I could make a gift with one by covering the front. It was so simple. I was a bit stumped by the closing and trying to decide on centering but I think it will work and it is not holiday DSP so it will be used year round.

Rudolf Treat Box

Well, we are half way to Christmas and I am still posting daily! It has been a challenge but I am pushing myself to do it. This is a cute treat box that I got from Debbie Henderson at www.debbiesdesignsblog.blogspot.com

I decided to try it and it was so fun. I did not have everything she had but I think I made it work. Now to decide what to put in him.

Clear Box Gift

These little clear boxes are so quick and easy for gifts and this one holds lots of kisses for it's size. I made a little tag and it will be perfect for a neighbor gift.

Tiny Take Out Box

Again, this is a very old tutorial that I pulled up. It was a lazy Saturday and I was looking for things to make and put on my blog. Remember, I am getting this done before Thanksgiving so I am trying to find quick and easy projects and cards.  This makes a little 2.5 x 2.5 box.

Gift Bag

This was a recent tutorial from Chicnscratch. I follow all her tutorials and they are so easy to do. Her style is pretty basic but fabulous. I used the supplies I had and made it. You can make the bag  and then fill it with a baggie of goodies. Mine is currently empty.

Squash Ornament

I cannot take credit for this at all. I just know I have been seeing them for a long time (years) and I finally decided to give it a try. I just googled squash ornament and found a tutorial. I quickly used some retired DSP (in case I messed up) and made a little ornament. It was really easy.

A Snowflake Card

I found a stack of snowflakes left over from last catalog and I decided to make a quick little card. I veered away from red for this one and used the pretty Lovely Lipstick for the card. The gold snowflake stands out on it nicely.

Notepad Gift with Pen

I had a few of these little notepads sitting around my desk and decided to make one into a gift. Again, I am using that free DSP (you will see it often this month). I had only ordered 3 new Christmas sets this year and they will be used often as well.

A Clean and Simple Christmas Card

I am all about what can be made quickly and looks good. I took some of the free DSP I earned and made a quick card. It is simple but pretty.

A Holiday Pop-Up Treat box

This is just like the ones I did for my co-workers for Thanksgiving but I did it with Christmas colors...Garden Green and Real Red. It will hold one Ferro Rocche or a truffle.

It's an Elf treat pouch

This reminds me of one of my favorite holiday movies...Elf. I laugh and laugh at that movie. It is both silly and dumb and it makes me laugh. My family say they would rather watch me watch the movie than actually watch the movie!

This tutorial is from a year ago or so and I had saved it for later. I finally made it and it is so cute! I filled it with 3 truffles. Yum!

Last 2 Timeless Tidings Cards

As you can see, this kit makes 4 different cards and you have enough supplies to make 5 of each card. It is a win-win. I showed it to one friend who immediately ordered this and the tags kit I showed recently!

Timeless Tidings Card 2

I don't know if you noticed but the envelopes are not only gold foiled on the outside, they have pretty stripes on the inside. 10 have the green stripes and 10 have the red stripes. Oh, they add some elegance to your pretty hand made cards.

The kit is ready to punch, peel and put together. Like I said, it includes everything but the stamp set, adhesive and dimensionals. I was able to make 20 cards in less than an hour. Now, if I could only get them addressed and stamped in less than an hour!

Timeless Tidings Project Kit

As I have mentioned before, I am all about simplicity during the holidays and these kits are the easiest way to make handmade greetings for all your friends and family. Sincerely Santa card 4

This is the final card I made with the Sincerely Santa tag kit. There are 5 tags but I only made cards with 4 of them. You could easily make 30 cards in an hour with this kit and a few extra supplies, like card stock and the stamp set that goes with the tags. A little DSP also helps but not necessary.

This is the 2nd card I made from a tag. I used the Dashing Along DSP that I earned for free in October for the backgrounds.  I love this sentiment...instead of Joy to the World it says Joy to Your World.

This is the first of 4 cards I made using the cute tags that I had already put together. Did I mention that it only took about an hour to make 30 tags? That translates into just about 3 minutes a tag and maybe 5 minutes to convert to a card.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have stuffed yourselves with good food, family and lots of love! We have been camping in New Mexico (a first for us) and are planning to visit the family at Christmas. Alas, when you live 12 hours away from everyone it is hard to see them for every holiday. However, Christmas will be here in a few weeks so look out my littles...Lolli and Pops will be there to hug and kiss and spoil you soon!

I hope you have enjoyed these cards for the past few weeks featuring the Falling for Leaves stamp bundle. I will be moving on the Christmas next! I cannot wait to show all the goodies I have been working on!

Pop Up Candy Box

Just wanted to share a last minute gift for the office workers at my school. I saw this on a blog and had to make it myself. It was challenging but I think I will get better. This little box pops up and inside it will hold on Ferrero Rocher candies or a Lindor Chocolate.

A Very Green Thankful Card

I confess, Green is NOT my favorite color but I used the DSP from Share What You Love for the colors of this card. I could not find any green ribbons so I improvised with the Spruce card stock. Colors are: Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron and Soft Sea Foam.

A Case from Mary Brown

This very pretty and again C&S card was cased from the very talented Stamper Camper, Mary Brown. She and I both love clean and simple cards and I often find inspiration from her. Check out her card here. You can see mine is very basically hers with a couple of minor changes.

Thinking of You

Again with the glitter paper! Look how lovely the copper is with the retired Bermuda Bay. I added the crimped Crumb Cake and some ribbon for a quick and easy clean and simple glittery card!

Catalog Case Thankful Card

I cased the card on pg 45 of the Fall Mini and made it into a mini card...4x4 version. I love the Mango Melody with the Merry Merlot. So pretty together.

Harvest of Thanks

This card was made using some of the Natures Poem DSP. The colors just say Autumn to me. I am loving the way the leaf jumps off the page with the Cajun Craze and Shaded Spruce.

Another Stampin' Up! Inspiration

This is a sample card in the Fall Mini Catalog. It is so pretty! I know I am obsessed with this bundle. I sure hope it stays around for the big catalog!
