High Tide again

One more High Tide then I promise to move on for a while. I love this stamp set and am so happy it is staying in the catalog one more year. This one features the sand pipers on the beach.

High Tide Shine card

This one is a water color wash with the light house stamped in Black. I wanted the background to be the focus so I used black ink on the rest. It is so pretty. Looks like the beach to me!

High Tide Birthday Card

I guess I have summer on my brain because I keep coming back now to these summer type cards. You will see if you follow my blog. I have several to post. This first one is a classic light house, red and white. I love the birds and ocean scene.

Picture Perfect Birthday

This set is staying in the new catalog. I really like and I think I will be using it a lot. I will miss the DSP 6x6 sheets so much that I quickly ordered a 2nd pack. In my opinion, you can never have too much DSP. My challenge is to use it!

Bubble Over

I did this Bubble Over card after seeing one like it on Pintrest. This is a fun set that can be used as soda bubbles or an adult beverage, you choose. Either one is fun!

June is for Brides #5 and final

Of course as I was stamping one I did a duplicate of each card. One to send and one to keep for here a little closer to home. I am always in need of shower cards for weddings and babies.

June is for Brides #4

The card is black with a whisper white embossed overlay. I added 2 punched hearts with glitter paper, a ribbon and a sentiment. I bet this is the only one like this they will get!

June is for Brides #3

I really like this simple one as well. You can see I was into my glitter paper and having fun keeping things clean. I just love a clean and simple, easily duplicated card.

June is for Brides #2

Another clean and simple bridal card for a special couple. I went out and bought a bunch of girftcards for the intended and am mailing as their special date is approaching.  This one is actually being sent to the groom. He is a special one and we don't know his intended. My husband actually performed the weddings of his 2 older brothers before we moved so far away.

June is for Brides

I just realized that moving around from state to state means we know more people and have so many more friends. That also means we are invited to more showers...bridal. baby, graduations etc...That being said, I just have recieved 5 shower invites all due in June and all for weddings. I sat down and put together 5 different cards because all the recipents know each other.

A simple Basic Gray and Whisper White card with a little embossing, some glitter paper and the Big Shot! Insert gift card (all showers are 600 miles away) and mail.

Last Waterfront (for now)

For this card I used stamping and sponging. This one is more like a sunset/sunrise behind the mountains with reflections on the water. I can see there is a forest nearby and some flying birds enjoying the scene. I used the wonderful 'amazing' that showed up during Sale-a-Bration but is also in the new catalog!

A Water colored Waterfront

This card is a beach and mountain card. I used to be so surprised to see mountains on little islands but now I am surprised when there isn't a mountain on an island. It works for us because he really likes the mountains and I am in love with the sea.

Fun with Waterfront Again

This card is using some of the True Gentlemen DSP and the lucious corduroy ribbon. I used Very Vanilla, Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide with a touch of Soft Suede for the mountain and Daffodil for the sun.

This was the first set that really caught my eye in the current mini and I ordered it right away. I have had fun using it and guess what? It is in the new catalog too! I will be showing you a card for the next few posts from this same set. It is versatile and fun to use. How about a beach scene?

How About a Birthday Card?

At least this set is staying in the catalog and is available now in the current mini catalog. It is the Picture Perfect Birthday set. With the matching DSP you can put together some really quick and cute cards in a snap! I fussy cut the bow because the stamp was not big enough for my focal point on this one.

Saying Goodbye to Bird Banter

It is always hard to say goodbye to loved ones but I had not even used this set! I had to quickly put together a couple of cards so I could at least get ink on the stamps before they retire. This first one is a stacked note that I hand colored with an assortment of the stampin' blends.

The 2nd card is using some of the current In Colors and some of the masculine DSP in which we are having to saying bye. I am loving the easy way these Stampin' Blends work!

And I did a 3rd one also. I think this parrot is so cute and I had to use him again! And look at the little Cock-a-Too!
