BABY WIPE TECHNIQUEDirections:1) Squeeze a few drops of ink on a baby wipe; the moistened material absorbs the colors and creates a one-of-a-kind ink pad. 2) Stamp your image. 3) For another approach, gently swipe the wipe over your card stock to create a multicolored background. |
Thank you for this idea. I will have to try it. Barbara

ReplyDeleteHi. I'm new to stamping,so I hope my question isn't too silly. What kind of ink are you using? I love the watercolor effect- does this work with permanent dyes as well? Thanks, Nancy
ReplyDeleteNeat idea and since I use baby wipes to clean stamps I have lot of them.
ReplyDeleteCertainly going to try this. Thanks for sharing! ! !
Thanks for sharing this simple but effective idea.
ReplyDeleteI have tried it and love it but went even further. I am using baby wipes to clean ink from stamps and craft mat. Then wipe the inked baby wipe over white card to create background cards, similar to distressing ink but much chipper. I have usually 3 or 4 of them on the go and keep adding the colours as I work. Great effect.
