Click on the link for a fun throw back (or at least if you are as old as I am)! I saw this card also on Pintrest and it was so easy and fun I could not resist. I did change my sentiment. I remember my brother watching this cartoon when we were growing up!
My place to stamp, create and share! I am proud to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and the team leader for the Judi's Cuties!

Dads and Grads - Masculine Cards
If you are anything like me you struggle with the masculine cards most of all. So, to challenge myself a bit I have decided that I want to do at least 2 weeks of masculine only cards that will be perfect for the men in your life and mine. OK, that is a BIG challenge but here goes.
Today I am featuring the soon to be retired and oh so cute Hello, Sailor stamp set. I kept my colors simple because I am still in holiday mode but these colors will always be appreciated by men. Click here to place any last minute order from the current catalog and mini.

CCMC304 - Color Challenge
Keeping to my challenge to make masculine cards I am playing with Connie and Mary and decided to use these colors for a graduation card. Really, you can never go wrong with a graduation card for a guy. They are a bit hard to find though. So, I kept this one very simple and made the traditional cap with tassel using the challenge colors. I hand colored my tassel with my Soft Sky marker.

MoJo 347 - Tall and Skinny
Playing with a challenge and making it fit my own personal challenge for a masculine card. This one is a little more challenging for me. Whenever I see a flower I think...flowers. Not so with the manly man card. So, I went with stars. Also, ribbons are not too manly but hey, they will just have to deal with this one. After all, military men are always earning ribbons and stripes. You may recognize that the colors I chose were also the new In Colors for the new catalog, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and the coordinating Smoky Slate.

Memorial Day Card #2
Another 'old' postcard that I found on the net and printed out. I mounted this one on Night of Navy and a piece of DSP from the Fresh Prints stack. My dad served in the Air Force, my oldest brother served in the Navy and my younger brother was Army all the way. I am proud to have had them help with our freedoms. I pray that I will never take that for granted!

Vintage Memorial Day #1
Ooh, I just love the look of vintage! I like to collect old toys and lots of antique kitchen gadgets. So, I guess it makes sense that I should also love the vintage style of card making. I found this image on the web and quickly printed it and mounted it to the Crumb Cake card stock for the finishing touch. Come back tomorrow for another vintage Memorial Day card.

Nacho Average Challenge #90
Woo...I don't think I was the only one who found this color combo a bit of a challenge. Since it is graduation season I decided to make a graduation card for this color challenge. I used the brand new Bravo set from the newest catalog for the focal point. This set will be great for any congrats/well done card.

Graduation Gifting
I received a graduation party invite from an adult friend who recently finished her Bachelor's degree. Well, what do you give an adult? I don't think cash was the answer for this friend so I checked my stash of 'good stuff' and came up with a little personalized candle. I made the box, tag and candle.
P.S. She loved her candle and I think I can book a party off of it!

Saying Goodbye Just Got Sweeter!

Way to Go!
I was at work last week and heard some of the girls in the office complaining about the price of cards at the stores now a days. I couldn't let that pass so I offered to make/bring a couple of cards that they were needing. One gal had gotten a promotion to the state office and we needed this type card. I took a couple and this is the one they chose.
Just a reminder, no need to waste all the under card. I punched the circle I needed out of this before I layered it. Waste not, want not.

Clean and Simple Floral
You know how I love clean and simple cards and most things in my life are just that...clean and simple. It is the best life for me and I am not a frilly girlie-girl. I am just me and that is OK. So, I could not resist making a clean and simple 'floral' for this challenge. This is a simple 5x5 card that will be great for any occasion.

Playing with the new Blendabilities
I just got my first catalog order from the pre-orders that demonstrator's can get. I wanted to try my hand at the new blendable markers. I have never played with any of the alcohol inked markers. I ordered the new Blended Bloom and a couple sets of the blendabilities. Did you know that they come in sets of 3 colors for only 11.95! You also need the Momento stamp pad for the basic stamp. I quickly sat down and made this pretty 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card. I have to practice more but I am sure they are going to be fun for all!

By the Tide for Father's Day
A sketch, a stamp set and and a couple of colors and what do you have? A father's day card that any man (especially my man) would love!
We are headed to a scuba vacation in only 2 weeks and we are really getting psyched. This will be our first vacation since we moved and we are very land locked in Oklahoma. Bonaire, here we come. BTW, Bonaire is a beautiful little island by Aruba and Curacoa.

Nacho Average Challenge #89
The sketch for this challenge is so easy and so versatile. You can do just about anything with it and so I played with it a bit and decided to do a tag card. Keeping things simple, that is my mantra. Also, while cruising around I realized that this matches the Technostamper blog challenge too. Yea, love it when that happens.

Artisan Birthday Card
This is a fun and beautiful card featuring the stamp set Label Love and the wonderful punch to match the stamps. I love the softness of this card with the soft colors and tissue paper flowers that were inked to match. Enjoy! This card was done was Artisan winner, Mercedes Weber. What an inspiration!

HSS Color Challenge #185
I love, love, love these colors and the matching DSP called Retro Fresh. I am really going to miss it! Be sure to get yours before it retires or sells out! So, I cased a Mary Brown for this card. I love this layout and did it without the stamp set she used just using the DSP! Keeping it quick and simple...that is my goal.

Color Meets Sketch
I made this card to fit 2 sketches this week. As you can tell, I am behind again with my blogging. This new job and these new hours are really beating me up! So, a combo it is.
Color vs |
Sketch What a great sketch to use up the soon-to-be-retired DSP. I may be making a few more of these cards. I used DSP from several packs and kept my card very simple because as I said before...I am way behind. |

Baby, We've Grown
I have made a very quick and easy baby boy card here. I first punched the circle in my card and then punched the scalloped circle. I used my punched circle for a guide to punch the center of the scallop out and then used the center for my focal point. I water colored the bunny parts using my Marina Mist and blender pen. Fast, fun and easy.

Mother's Day Card for 2 Moms and 2 Challenges
I made this little card for the Mother's Day challenge on The Paper Players which was simply Mothers. I used the sketch from Craft Project Central to design my card. I kept it simple and sweet for the mom's in my life. Who can resist a butterfly? They are a real reminder of Spring!
