I suppose it is never too early or you can never have too many of certain types of cards. One is of course, graduation cards. Last year, I had to rush out and buy cards. Call me embarrassed! Hopefully, I will get a head start this year starting with this one. It closes with velcro and will hold money!
My place to stamp, create and share! I am proud to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and the team leader for the Judi's Cuties!

Snickers Boxes
I found a blog that has a fun tutorial on how to make a Snicker's candy bar box. Well, I had to make one and it was so fun I made one for all my 6 co-workers. It worked out well that they come in a package of 6 and I don't care for them so no waste!
Here is the prototype for them. You can see her instructions here. By the way, none were wasted by my friends!

Casing an Artisan
Every year Stampin' UP! has a contest that any demo can enter. I have entered in the past but not for years now. The stamping community is leaps and bounds above my level and I am ok with that. But every so often I see one and have to case it (copy and share everything). This is one that caught my eye and will probably be my anniversary card for my spouse in March (if I do not lose it). So many layers and textures!

Lilypad Lake
I cased this one from Connie Babbert and her's was so perfect I only changed the background dsp. I know I have mentioned that we live right by the lake and this season we have spent a lot of time kayaking and dreaming of our new idea to learn to sail. I love the outdoors, and being on the water it so perfect for me. Sometimes I drive across the bridges just to look at the water!

Painted Glass
OK, I cased these cards from the great Patty at www.pattystamps.com. I had this velum and did not know what I would do with them and I saw her post from the early summer and cased them. My colors are probably a shade different but the ideas were hers.

Rooted in Nature again
The Rooted in Nature stamp is the first one I got from the new catalog and I love the versatility. It also goes well with the oldest set in the catalog, Lovely as a Tree and I think the new Christmas stamp set is also great with it called, Winter Woods. This one was also done in fall colors just getting me ready for the change of seasons.

Sheltering Tree
I know for some of you it is starting to feel like fall. Not here in Texas but we can dream. Seriously, fall is a pretty season but it is next to the last on the list for me. I am a Spring/Summer person. Give me the hot days and yard cutting every day! I hate the time changes and the lack of sunshine. However, I made this card for you fall lovers, like my daughter.

Sea of Textures vs PP409 - A Color Challenge from Anne Marie
I made this card last week and have not had the opportunity to post it yet. How ironic that it matches the challenge colors for this week. I did nothing extra and made no changes to make it fit. It is a simple layout, one that I have done many times but sometimes we just need to get back to basics.
Thanks for dropping by!

the Paper Players Challenge PP408
School is back in. It is after Labor Day so time to think of those lunchbox notes. I chose to do mine for this challenge using the Animal Expedition DSP and some of the card stock that matches it. I made 3x3 cards to keep them quick and easy. Who wouldn't want to open their lunchbox and find some cute notes like these. As a side note, while my kids were in high school I used the word of the day from Reader's Digest to imcrease their vocabulary every day.
Thanks for looking!

A Stepped Up card
Each quarter Stampin' Up gives demonstrators a little magazine that has certain features and ideas. One is called Step It Up. It gives you 3 ways to make a card. Basic for beginners, one step up for intermediate stampers and finally one that for avid crafters. This is my take on one stamp set that I just got called Abstract Impressions. I got this idea from a fellow stamper and I cased her cards so you can case them also. I am going to try to do this more often and without caseing!

A fun fold Wild About You
For this card I got my inspiration directly from the you tube by Chic n Scratch. She is always making cute little cards and gives step-by-step instructions for them. All kudos go to her for this one. I cased it exactly except for the squares on the front.
