Can You "Enjoy Life" too much?

This is the last one of these for a while but I am making no promises. I might go back to it soon. This one is so pretty done in the colors: Powder Pink, Soft Suede and Mint Macaron. Very simple to do and oh so pretty.

Enjoy Life

Again, this was one of the stamp sets demonstrator's could buy early and I went for it. I am loving all the details with the flowers and tiny butterflies. This one was cased from a challenge winner on the Paper Players. Lots of sponging on it also. Very simple and easy. Thanks for the inspiration.

One More Wild About You card

As school has started and I am more and more busy I am closing the month with another cased and cute card. I cannot seem to get enough to these little giraffe's.

Another Picture Perfect Birthday card

I am still thinking birthday as I approach the month of August. In my family, my mom gave birth to 4 out of her 5 children in August. That is a lot of birthdays, add in cousins, nieces, nephews and my own daughter not to mention my Mom in law and I need a lot of August birthday cards!  Hmm, who will this one go to?

More Share What You Love Designer Series paper

This was another cutie that I spied and had to case. It features the Share What you Love dsp and some basic stamping. It turned out so cute. Kudos to the originator of this card.

One More Lift Me Up card

As we close out the month of July, we are leaving on a high note with this last Lift Me Up card.  This one was made using the ever popular white on white with lots of brightly colored balloons. It reminds me of the balloon festivals seen all around the country and makes a great birthday card.

Lift Me Up in Manly Man Colors

I am still posting cards I made a while back. This is another Lift Me Up card that I did and I cased it. I am calling this one the manly man colors. It would work for anyone but the Crumb Cake and Night of Navy tend to lend themselves to the men.

High Tide

Having recently returned from dive vacation to Grand Cayman I had to stamp out another lighthouse card. I love anything nautical! This one uses many sponges to get the early evening effect that is going on here.  Thanks for dropping by!

Lift Me Up

I got this set last year and never played with it. I was a bit stumped I guess but I looked for inspiration and that got the ball rolling. Thank goodness for casing! This layout was so easy,  just like the one I posted  on July 6th. This is one easy layout! In fact, I made 5 cards using the same layout.  Enjoy!

Congratulations

I made a simple Congratulations card using my new stamp-a-ratus. It is a gadget that truly makes it easy to line out stamping and fill in the gaps. I used 2 new In Colors for this card...Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick.

A Fun Color Challenge - PP401

I just love these bright colors and I knew as soon as I saw them what I wanted to do it just took me all week to make the card! I thought immediately of the Magical Mermaid. I made a sparkly card using that pretty mermaid. I am not sure that the dazzling diamonds show up very well in the picture but they are all over her tail. I think it turned out pretty well.

Love What You Do

The name of this stamp set pretty much embodies the Stampin' Up! ideal! Love what you do and share what you love. I have been a fan of this thought for my whole life. This little card was so quick and easy to do. I actually used my markers on the back of a stamping block, spritzed it with water and stamped. Let it dry then stamp away. Very quick and easy!

Multifold Birthday Card

I found a tutorial online and recently made a mulifold birthday card. Mine is a bit different but very close to the one I saw online. I used my papers a bit differently and got ahead of myself and had to edit my card to make it work. But I think you get the gist of it. It is tied shut and it hold a giftcard!

Enjoy Life with Share What You Love DSP

Have I mentioned how happy I am that this stamp set carried over from the Occasions mini catalog? It is a great set with so many looks. This card uses the candle stamps (the same ones that also make the blowers). Add a flame and they are candles!

Dragonfly Dreams

I have been outside kayaking a lot lately with my hubby and there are so many dragonflies here near the lake. I had one sit on my foot the other day and take a ride with me. It was such a pretty blue thing. Anyway, it was my inspiration for this card.

Enjoy Life with Share What You Love DSP

I finally got around to opening and acutally cutting my new DSP. I am such a DSP hog. I never want to use it! I am really going to try to do better this year! I made this card using some of the products that were available for pre-order and now are in the catalog. One cool thing about this package of DSP, besides that it is so large, is that it goes with 13 colors of card stock! This one features Blackberry Bliss but I could have used any of those other colors using the same layout!

PP400 - A Celebration Theme Challenge with Jaydee

I am today playing with this challenge. I have been gone as in out of the country for a week and enjoyed a bit of scuba diving (20 dives). I had to wait for week 2 of the challenge to play along. I made a Dragonfly Dreams card for this challenge using some retired SAB glitter paper and it took me a while to piece it together but the results are stunning (IMHO). Enjoy.

Swirly Bird

I had the Swirly Bird out for a challenge and decided to make another card while I had it out. I cased one from an older catalog changing the colors. It is so bright and cheery!

Another Daisy Delight

I made one more Daisy Card using just current products. I really think this stamp set is a keeper for so many occasions. This one is a thank you card for a friend. The senitment and the flowers are all from the same set so it has extra value in my book. Colors used: Whisper White, Old Olive, Momento Black and Berry Burst (stamped off for diffent colors).

Daisy Delight

This is such and easy layout. I could literally do lots of cards with almost any image with this layout. This one uses some retired DSP but he images are all relevant. No sentiment so it could be used for any occasion. I love the Night of navy cording. Colors used are: Whisper White, Garden Green, Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight.

My annual 4th of July card

Well, I make one every year. This year I have literally nothing that looks like fireworks so I improvised. I started with Real Red card stock and added stripes using the silver sequin trim. The start box is Night of Navy with white glitter paper stars. Quick and easy.

One More Bubble Over

I will be showing just one more Bubble Over and that is all of that one for a while (I think). It is a fun and versatile set. Too bad the DSP has not returned. This one uses the In Color Lemon Lime Twist and I used the DSP and the framelets to cut out the bubbly bottle. I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to the bubbles to make them fizz!

Stamping Like Crazy!

I have been stamping like a crazy woman since last week. I guess I have made more than 40 different cards since last week. I am not working much this summer and I have lots of time on my hands. Today I spent the whole day trying to find my new In Color markers (never found them). I am thinking I did not notice they were absent from my order! Oops! I will call SU tomorrow. They are so good to us!

I will be showing another Bubble Over card today. I am still using the recently retired DSP but it is still so handy!  This card features the sparkly ribbon left over from Sale-A-Bration also. It goes pretty well with the Calypso Coral card stock.

More Lilypad Lake (with egrets)

This is the last one for the month of June (I think). I cannot seem to get my fill of this wonderful set. If you live near a lake then this is a definite for you!

I guess I just cannot get enough of this stamp set. I will be featuring it for my next 3 posts including this one. For this card I am featuring the sailboats. My next big adventure is learning to sail!

Picture Perfect Birthday

It is summer and the stamping is easy around here. I am spending my free time stamping away and posting when I have a stack of cards ready. This one is from the Picture Perfect Birthday set. It is a fun stamp set and perfect for so many birthday cards.

Wild About You

I am making my 'wish list' for the new catalog and will definitely get the framelets to match this set. I did not see where they could be pre-ordered so I will have to get them separately along with the cute DSP to go with this set.

Lilypad Lake

We have been spending a lot of 'free time' kayaking on the lake near our home. We have lots of egrets and ducks and lily pads. I could not resist this set when it showed up in the new catalog and I will be showing lots using this set I am sure!

I just realized that this card also fit in to the Paper Players challenge for the week so I submitted it also. Such fun! I am truly loving this stamp set.

Swirly Bird in the new In Colors

Today I saw the new Paper Players challenge and since I was wanting to use my Swirly Bird set I decided why not. I always challenge myself to make at least one card using all the In Colors for the year and this one fits the bill.

I like to think of all my cards as being Clean & Simple and it features a bird so why not?

Sheltering Tree

This was quick card for a good friend. We all just finished our VBS and they went out and got my hubby a gift card to show their appreciation for all his hard work! It is so nice to be appreciated!

Enjoy Life

I did a water color wash on glimmery white card stock to make this card. It takes a little practice, especially with the new ink pads but it is still very doable.

High Tide (fancy fold)

I made this card the other day for my husband's father's day card. We are loving anything about the sea, light houses, fish, beach etc... I think he will get a kick out of the 'not so average' fold on this card.

Lilypad Lake with no egrets!

OK, so that was so bad! I am again showing the sailboats for  this quick card,. The hardest part of this card was the ribbon behind the sentiment!

One Final Beautiful You card

I did one more card while I had this stamp set out and it turned out so pretty. I stamped the focal point on water color paper and used my pens to color her in. The rest is layering and layout. So pretty!

A Case of Beautiful You

I saw this one on Pinterest and I loved it. Of course, it was done by one of my favorite CAS stampers, Mary Brown. I used different colors but the same image. I also used the new clear epoxy shapes for the raindrops.

Beautiful You

Another stamp set that survived this years cuts was Beautiful You. It is so pretty with so many images. I will be showing this stamp set for my next 3 cards including this one.  This one is so simple. I used a pretty DSP and stamped over it.

Love What You Do in Call Me Clover

This was another quick and easy card. I used only the new In color "Call Me Clover" and Momento Black. A little stamping, stamping off and ribbons and you have a pretty little card.

Best Birds Again

Still using up retired DSP from 2 years ago. I came across this paper and decided it needed a little bird in the wood. I miss my pines from Georgia. I have a mama bird feeding the little one.

Best Birds

I have now moved on to the Best Birds portion of my blog. Love these little birds. I also love the background that comes with that set. I made a pretty Coastal Cabana colored bird (see have coast on my mind).
