New Catalog Sneak Peek

I got some of my new stuff from On Stage and the Onstage attendees only pre-order and got to play around a little bit. I am loving some of these things and cannot wait to share with you. I know you will want to get some and you can...very soon.

It seems you always need a sympathy card even if they are not the most fun to make. I used a couple of new stamps for this quick card of simple black and white. The tree is from the new set, Rooted in Nature and the sentiment is from another new set called, Painted Glass.

Bubble Over Card swap

This is one of the card swaps I did at the Onstage event in Fort Worth. I actually did 6 different swaps and did not take the time to make photos of any of them. I just remade these to keep the juices flowing with stamping.

In Colors

There are no changes to the In Color program. Every two years we will continue to introduce five new In Colors that will be available for the ensuing two years.

New Color Collections

Color Revamp for 2018-2019

Stampin’ Up! makes a point to keep an eye on color trends across different markets and industries. When we see changes happening, we review our color spectrum to ensure that we remain consistently on top of the trends. This brings us to the 2018 Color Revamp!

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colors, we decided it was time to give our color collections a makeover.

With this revamp, you’ll not only have new products to introduce and sell to your customers, but also have a new variety of shades that will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting. Read on for more information!

There are still four color collections, each with ten colors. There is also a new color group called Basics.

In order to keep our color collections to exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors, we moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection. We’ve also moved a few colors into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colorful!

Some additional colors have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections below. You can refer to the old and new color charts in the 2018-2019 catalog. These changes were based on needing to maintain color balance in our updated collections. For example, Poppy Parade is now the brightest red so it is part of the Brights collection.

I'm Back!

I know I took a long sabbatical. I needed to decide if I was going to stick with Stampin' Up! or let it go. I know I love to craft but with the new catalog and all was I going to try to make a new start. Well, guess what? I got to go to my first Onstage Event in Fort Worth and I met a few ladies in my area and I have decided to keep trying! First things first. The catalog is going to change on June 1st and there are lots of retiring colors, stamp sets and accessories. Keep them now before they are gone.  Be sure to pick me as your demonstrator and order at the link below.

Now, on to the new catalog! OOH, I am excited and I can show you a few sneak peeks and there are even some things you can order starting May 1st.

Tranquil Tulips

I won this stamp set and wanted to play with it before it retires! It is a hostess set called Tranquil Tulips.  Spring fever is hitting here in Dallas and I made a quick spring tulip card. I did a lot of work in the garden on Saturday and I am still sore from it but I can stamp!

Bubble Over

I was wanting to use some of the new SAB Springtime Foils DSP and when I looked I thought about Coke bubbles. I am from Atlanta so I love my Coke! I put this one together quickly using the fun framelets that match the stamp set. I know it is crooked in the picture...must be all the bubbles and fizz!

Craft Along with the Bunny and Chickadees

I am posting 2 posts in one day because I found this challenge and I really wanted to use my Sweet Little Something stamp set. It is perfect for this challenge and it turned out so sweeeet!

Use a BUNNY or Chickadee as your FOCAL image. Spring is coming and I am so looking forward to the Bunnies and Chickadee’s. I can’t wait to see what you create.

Isn't he sweet? I used Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede stamp out this soft little bunny. If that doesn't look like Easter...

CAS(E) this Sketch #261

This is the sketch. Now, I found the sketch after I made my card and thought, hey, this is the same idea. So, I am posting my sample here. It is certainly nothing fancy but it was fun!

I used the fun Bubbles and Fizz DSP with the Bubble Over stamp set. Colors were Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist and Calypso Coral.

Fresh Fig

Sara loved purple as a little girl, and she still loves all tones of purple, so I chose Fresh Fig (and some bling) for her birthday packaging. Another Catalog CASE

I used the soon to be retiring Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy for this quick catalog case card. I love the punch that comes with the masculine bundle, Truly Tailored. It is so perfect for so many sentiments and a great shape to add to the collection.

A Lot of Rain

Well, we have been having a lot of rain and no snow or ice! It has been either raining or overcast most every day for 2 weeks. I know we need it but in my world it would rain at night and be sunny every day. Aww, in the next life. I am really loving this stamp set...Waterfront.

SUO Only Challenges

SUO Challenge 194: CASE a Catalog Project!

At this moment, Stampin’ Up! has three catalogs for its demonstrators and customers to enjoy. Each of those catalogs is FULL of great projects to give us all ideas to help us get started on our own projects. Your challenge this time is to make a card or other project based on one that’s featured in either the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog (Creativity Your Way); the 2018 Occasions Catalog (Love it, Live it, Share it); or the 2018 Sale-A-Bration Brochure. One of the words for what we’re asking you to do is CASE: Copy And Share with Everyone. 

My card came from the front of the Occasions catalog. I fell in love the Picture Perfect Birthday and ordered it as soon as I could. I was disappointed in the paper ribbon not being available so I made my own version using the scissors! I have not received my Stamparatus yet so I had to improvise on my stamping. I think it came out well.

A Q & E Masculine Card

It is time to make a Q&E masculine card. I followed the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch! It was quick & easy (Q&E)! I love the Truly Tailored look and so I turned to it for my stamping and the wonderful DSP that matches that set. My husband has recently acquired a couple of bow ties and has been using them when we cruise (just for the fun of it) and so I made this one for him.

Beautiful Peacock

I just got the Beautiful Peacock and I got to play with it this weekend. It is such a striking image that I wanted to make it as colorful as possible. I used the new In Color Lemon Lime Twist for the card base and it begged for some of the Brights colors...Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Melon Mambo. I added the glitter paper and the beautiful Tutti Frutti sequins. I think it turned out very pretty! Then I saw that it matches the TGIF Challenge of the week...

Daisy Delight

This pretty card was made using Daisy Delight. I stamped the flower twice and used the matching punch to cut the flowers (easy peasy). The flowers are Pink Pirouette and I stamped using Melon Mambo. The card base is Pool Party and stamped using the same color ink. The stem and flowers were made using Pear Pizazz. All the images including the words were done using the one stamp set.
